Wu Zhaoying, President of the Quanzhen Taoist Association of Switzerland
Wu Xinhong (1965), formerly known as Wu Zhaoying, is a Taoist practitioner from Taichung City, Taiwan. She is a 25th-generation disciple of the Longmen sect of Quanzhen Taoism and serves as the President of the Quanzhen Taoist Association of Switzerland, under the Taoist name Xinhong.
In May 2010, she was ordained as a monk at Changchun Guan in Wuhan, where she studied under the guidance of Abbot Wu. She is currently the President of the Taoist Association of Hubei Province, Vice President of the Chinese Taoist Association, and Abbot of Changchun Guan.
In 2003, Abbot Wu began promoting Taoism through medicine, establishing Taoist medical treatment centers and offering Taoist health courses such as Tai Chi, meditation, traditional Chinese medicine, and holistic health practices.
In 2015, she set up an altar in Zurich, providing a space for learners to study and practice Taoism.
She supports all our associations through her extraordinary teachings.
